General

By purchasing products or services from TombStories Tombstones, the customer agrees to the terms and conditions outlined below.

All tombstones are crafted based on the information, materials, and design approved by the customer.

Quotation and Pricing

All quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

Prices include materials, craftsmanship, and installation (if applicable). Any additional services or customizations may incur extra charges.

A deposit of 50% is required upon placing the order, with the balance due before installation.

Customization and Approval

Customers are responsible for providing accurate information, including inscriptions, dates, and design preferences. We are not liable for any changes.

A design proof will be provided for approval before production begins. Changes after approval will result in additional charges to customer.

Lay-by Payment Option

Deposit: 30% required to secure the order.

Balance: Paid over a maximum period of 6 months (or as agreed).

Production Timeline: Starts only after full payment is received.

No Refunds: Missed or incomplete payments may result in cancellation without refund.

No refunds policy (No money back policy)

Due to the custom nature of our products, all sales are final, and money back are not available.

Cancellations after the design proof is approved will not be refunded.

Production and Delivery

Standard production and delivery is 3 – 6 weeks after the design proof is approved and full payment is received.

Delays due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., material shortages or weather affecting installation) will be communicated promptly.

Delivery and installation will be arranged.

Installation

Permit to be applied by the customer at the cemetery’s office.

It is the family’s responsibility to clean the grave before installation.

On the day of the installation, a family member must be present with the permit for erection of the tombstone.

Warranty and Maintenance

Workmanship warranty (5-year warranty) is applicable only on foundations laid by us.

The workmanship warranty covers any manufacturing defects (e.g., structural cracks or material flaws) and does not cover damage caused by vandalism, natural disasters, or improper handling after installation.

Restoration and maintenance services are available for an additional fee.

Privacy Policy

Customer information is used solely for the purpose of creating and delivering memorial products and services.

We strictly comply with the POPIA (Legal policy/ privacy statement)

Limitation of Liability

TombStories Tombstones is not responsible for delays, errors, or issues arising from incorrect customer-provided information or cemetery regulations.
